- 1). Navigate to the Windows Easy Transfer page from the PC with the WMP settings that you wish to transfer. See Resources.
- 2). Download the version of Windows Easy Transfer that corresponds to your version of Windows and select a location on your computer to store the file.
- 3). Double click the downloaded file, then follow the prompts from the installation wizard until the installation is completed.
- 4). Click the "Start" or Windows button in the lower left corner of your screen, then scroll to the "Windows Easy Transfer" option and select it.
- 5). Click the "Next" button, then select the means of transporting files that you will be using.
- 6). Select the "This is my old computer" option.
- 7). Click the "Customize" button under the user profile with the WMP settings that you wish to transfer.
- 8). Select the "Program Settings" and "Windows Settings" options so that the boxes to the left of those options have check marks in them.
- 9). Click the "Next" button, then enter a password, retype the password, then click the "Save" button.

Select the location for the Windows Easy Transfer file, then click the "Save" button. - 11

Download the version of Windows Easy Transfer that corresponds to your version of Windows and select a location on your computer to store the file. - 13

Navigate to the location of your Windows Easy Transfer file, then click the "Open" button. Follow the remaining prompts from the Windows Easy Transfer wizard until the transfer is complete.
