Convert the CD on a PC

• 1). Insert the music CD into your computer's CD drive.
  
  
• 2). Click "Rip Music From CD Using Windows Media Player," then click "OK."
  
  
• 3). Click the "Rip" button once Windows Media Player launches, then select the "MP3" option under "Format."
  
  
• 4). Click "Start Rip" to begin converting the CD to MP3 files.
  
  

Concert the CD on a Mac

• 1). Launch the iTunes application.
  
  
• 2). Select the "Edit" menu at the top of iTunes and click "Preferences."
  
  
• 3). Click "Import Settings" and change the drop-down menu next to "Import Using:" to "MP3 Encoder." Click "OK" to change the settings.
  
  
• 4). Insert the CD into your computer's CD drive.
  
  
• 5). Click "Import CD" on the top right side of the iTunes application. iTunes will rip the CD files to MP3 format.
