How to Use Antares Autotune With Acid Music Studio 5.0
- 1). Install Autotune as a VST plugin to the desired path. The path should be to a folder containing other VST plugins, but this is not necessary. When prompted upon installation to choose a directory, install into Acid's VST folder in Program Files or a desired custom VST folder.
- 2). Open Acid and click on the "Options" menu at the top of the screen. Scroll down to "Preferences" and click. Under the VST menu, make sure that the specified folder contains Autotune. If not, either change the folder through Acid or close acid, move Autotune, and reopen the program. If installed correctly, Autotune will appear upon opening Acid.
- 3). Create a black track by going to "Track" followed by "New Audio." To record, click the red button on Acid's transport controls. To stop recording, click the button again. Apply Autotune as an insert effect and apply desired settings. To disable, click Bypass on the plugin interface.
