- 1). Double-click Illustrator on your computer to open the program.
- 2). Click "File" and "Open" to open the document that includes the links you want embedded.
- 3). Click on a file in the "Links" panel. Select "Embed Image" from the "Panel" menu.
- 4). Click on the linked artwork in the "Illustration" window.
- 5). Click the "Embed" button in the "Control Panel."
- 6). Press "Ctrl" and "S" to save the document.
