I am very blessed and fortunate to be able to pass on something helpful to those of you who are facing a divorce that you don't want.
I was in the same situation myself a few years ago and I've been trying ever since to help couples avoid the pain and finality of divorce.
The truth is, you can stop a divorce when nothing else seems to be working.
This even works when your spouse has filed or moved out! Here is advice based on personal experience and years of painful discovery: 1) Avoid the begging & pleading, promises to change, anger, arguing, guilt trips and other negative behaviors.
These will only convince your spouse all the more that divorce is the best option.
2) Get control of your emotions - from now on respond to your partner calmly and firmly with the confidence that everything is going to be alright.
Keeping your emotional level in check will put you in a much better position to take the remaining steps and get you through the tough days ahead.
3) Be willing to accept help - Are you going to leave things to chance and hope they get better? Or will you be stubborn like I was and try o fix things on your own? The truth is to give your marriage the best chance of succeeding and save it from divorce, there is a specific action plan that you must follow.
But it won't do you any good if you don't get it 4) Take action - This puts it all together and brings life to your desires.
It works regardlless of where the relationship is at.
The ability to take action is what separates the happily married from those whom opted to do little or nothing about it.
