- 1). Click on the "Start" or Windows button and select "All Programs." Select the "HP" folder and click on the software for the 5250.
- 2). Select "Design a CD/DVD" and use the options on the screen to create a CD label. When you are done, pull out the CD holder from below the printer's input tray.
- 3). Place the CD you want to print on inside the holder so the CD snaps into place. Make sure to have the printable side facing up.
- 4). Pull the front edge of the CD/DVD access door down. Insert the CD/DVD holder into the slot in the CD/DVD input tray until the white lines on the tray and holder line up.
- 5). Click on "Print" in the printer's software. Allow the CD to sit in the holder for five minutes to allow it time to dry before you remove it.
- 6). Replace the holder in its storage slot below the printer's input tray. Push the CD/DVD input tray up until it sits in its original position.
