- Flash Player works on the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows, including Windows 7, Vista, XP, Windows Server 2008 and 2003; Mac OS X, including OS X 10.6, 10.5 and 10.4; Linux, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or later, openSUSE 11 or later and Ubuntu 9.10 or later; and Solaris 10.
- The player requires an Intel Pentium 4, AMD Athlon 64 2800 or equivalent processor running at 2.33 Gigahertz (GHz), if running Windows or Linux. If running Mac OS, an Intel Core Duo 1.33GHz or faster processor. If running Solaris, a 1600 Megahertz (MHz) Sun UltraSPARC IIIi processor.
Flash Player needs 128 Megabytes of RAM, if running Windows; if running Mac OS, 256 MB of RAM; if running Linux, 512 MB of RAM; and 2 Gigabytes of RAM, if running Solaris. - Flash Player runs on the following Internet browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and above, Safari 4.0 and above, Google Chrome, AOL 9.0 and above, AOL Desktop for Mac 1.0 and above, and Opera 9.5 and above.
- The player needs a video card with at least 128 MB of graphics memory for playing graphics with a resolution of 852 pixels by 480 pixels, 1280 pixels by 720 pixels or 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels on all platforms. Flash Player supports standard- and high-definition playback, and it supports AMD/ATI, Broadcom, Intel, Mac OS X and NVIDIA video cards.
- Flash Player also runs on smartphones and pocket computers running the Android 2.2 operating system. A dedicated Cortex A8 (ARMv7) 550MHz App Processor with Neon for A8 only with hardware vector FPU is supported, if the device's display type is Video Graphics Array (VGA). If the display type is Wide Video Graphics Array (WVGA), a dedicated Cortex A8 (ARMv7) 800MHz App Processor with hardware vector FPU is supported.
