How to Troubleshoot a Kenwood DP-R3060 CD Player
- 1). Turn the unit's power on and make sure that the power cord is plugged in.
- 2). Load the disc with the label side up. If the disc is dirty, wipe the disc clean from the center out. Also allow the player to sit for an hour if condensation has formed inside. Condensation sometimes can form on the unit's lens after a sudden change in temperature.
- 3). Press the "Play/Pause" button and make sure that the indicator light is lit if there is no sound. Check that all audio wires also are securely connected.
- 4). Investigate whether there is any vibration affecting the unit if the music is interrupted or skips.
- 5). Remove the disc from the unit if it automatically plays when the player is turned on.
- 6). Unplug the power cord, then plug it back in if there has been any external noise or interference. The system is microprocessor-controlled and malfunction can occur because of noise or interference.
