    • 1). Locate the 16-pin OBD-2 data port, which is found under the glove box in most Honda vehicles.

    • 2). Flip open the protective cover on the port. Plug your OBD-2 tester into the port. Turn the tester on, then start the vehicle.

    • 3). Examine the test meter. Look for P1169, corresponding to the "Label Circuit High Voltage" fault.

    • 4). Clear the fault code from the vehicle by removing the negative battery wire for 30 seconds or more, using the ratchet and socket set. Re-attach the wire and start the vehicle. The code should be cleared, indicated by the MIL light disappearing from the dash cluster and subsequent testing at the port.
