    Creating the Video

    • 1). Open the presentation you intend to burn to DVD. From the File menu, select "Save & Send." Select "Create a video."

    • 2). Select the down arrow beside "Computer & HD Displays" to choose the image quality of the video file you are creating. Select either "Internet & DVD" (medium quality) or "Computer & HD Displays" (high quality). Do not select a third option, "Portable Devices" (lower quality), because on all but very small screens the image looks too pixelated.

    • 3). Press the "Create Video" button. Indicate where you would like to save the resulting file and what you would like to name it.

    • 4). Press "Save." It may take a few hours to create your video file, depending on the complexity of your slide show, and the output quality you selected previously.

    Burning the DVD

    • 1). Insert DVD into DVD writer. Open Windows DVD Maker. Push the "Add Items" button and navigate to the PowerPoint presentation (saved as a WMV) you created in the previous section. Press the "Add" button.

    • 2). Repeat Step 1 for additional presentations you would like to save to DVD.

    • 3). Open the Options toolbar. Choose how you would prefer the DVD to playback. Choose your aspect ratio. If your presentation is going to be in another country, be sure to select the proper playback format (PAL or NTSC).

    • 4). Push the "Preview" button. If the preview meets your expectations, push "OK," to close the preview window. Press "Start Burn," to create your DVD.
