Traditional Definition of Liberalism

We wish to note that the traditional and established definition by the Oxford Dictionary, negates the point that Liberals do not believe in such definitions and they have never adopted them in the present period.
The old definitions of past periods simply do not apply to the trends or social movements embraced by modern day liberals.
The established, traditional, orthodox or authoritarian concept of lets say a dictionary from which such a definition of Liberalism has been lifted cannot be used to describe liberalism, because with liberalism everything is gray and there cannot be any right or wrong answer, thus the modern day liberal cannot use definitions to describe its self.
Now some might say they do not know what they stand for, in fact this would be the standard definition as they cannot stand for anything, because they cannot be boxed into a dictionary definition as that is too authoritative.
So in essence we cannot use definitions to discuss liberalism and if we do then the liberals who participate have already broken their own rule and its own definition.
But of course that would end this discussion, so lets proceed with this hypocrisy of liberalism anyway for discussion sake.
Liberals tell us to not tell others what to do, that nothing is black or white and that everything is perspective based towards ones point of view (POV).
Well this works until your POV is different than theirs and thus cannot be allowed at all? I hope this article propels political thought in 2007.
