How to Install the Microsoft Works Calendar

    Order Microsoft Works 9

    • 1). Navigate to the Microsoft Works 9 order page (see Resources).

    • 2). Choose to order the program from the list of stores listed on the site or from the Microsoft store directly. Click "Order" next to your corresponding choice.

    • 3). Click "Add to cart" next to the product description of the program.

    • 4). Choose a quantity and shipping method in the "Shopping Cart," which is in the box to the right if you're ordering the product from Microsoft directly. Click "Checkout now."

    • 5). Enter your billing information, including address and separate shipping address if necessary and payment information. Click "Next," and confirm your order on the next page by pressing "Place order." Print the receipt for your records and wait for your product to arrive.

    Install Microsoft Works 9

    • 1). Insert the CD that comes with the program into the computer where you want Microsoft Works installed.

    • 2). Wait for the installation welcome screen to appear and prepare for the installation. If it does not appear, open the "Computer" folder, found in the Windows Start menu. Double-click the icon that corresponds to your CD drive and the installation program should load.

    • 3). Click "Next." Select a location for the program if you don't want it go at the default location in "Program Files." Choose the custom install and deselect all programs but the Calendar program, if desired.

    • 4). Press "Install" and then "Finish" when the wizard completes. Microsoft Works Calendar will be installed, either by itself or with the rest of the programs you installed.
