"The Simpsons" Season Twelve
Must See TV
The episode I was panting for (yes, panting) was "Day of the Jackanapes", which sees the return of Sideshow Bob. Upon learning that Krusty has erased all the archival tapes of his show from the Sideshow Bob era, Bob schemes to use Bart as a Manchurian candidate to blow up Krusty live on the air.
Sideshow Bob was a bit watered down from the old days. I did enjoy seeing him return, though.
Other episodes I enjoyed were: "HOMR" where Homer becomes a genius after doctors remove a Crayon from his brain; "New Kids on the Blecch" where Bart, Nelson, Milhouse, and Ralph form a boy band; "Skinner's Sense of Snow" where Springfield Elementary is snowed in; "Worst Episode Ever" where Bart and Milhouse take over the comic book shop, and "Trilogy of Error" which was a fun "Run, Lola, Run" parody.
Not So Must See TV
Following are the episodes I just loathed: "Hunka Hunka Burns in Love" where Mr. Burns and Homer become Snake's hostages; "Pokey Mom" where a released inmate moves into the Simpson home; and especially "I'm Goin' to Praiseland" where Ned continues his relationship with gospel/country singer Rachel (puh-lease.)
