Article Marketing - Proofing Article Writing in 3 Simple Steps
This has a direct impact on your approval rates.
But since content creation is so time consuming, many article marketers prefer not to do any proof reading at all.
Here is how you can proof read your articles in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Check for spelling errors.
- This is the first thing to check.
I use spell check tools that help me identify spelling mistakes in my articles.
I don't even have to go and search for the correct spelling.
The tool will help me highlight all the erroneous words.
All I have to do is to right click and select the correct spelling.
Step 2: Check for grammar errors.
- This takes a little time because software can't really check your grammar on your behalf.
For example, no software will understand the context of the article.
Hence, software is unable to correct tenses.
As long as there are no glaring errors, the article should be approved.
Step 3: Check for sentence structure errors.
- To prevent yourself from making too many sentence structural sentences, avoid using run-on sentences.
Such sentences are punctuated by commas and go on and on.
A better way to write is to keep your sentences short and simple.
If you have many things to say, state them a little at a time.
The quality of your article will improve greatly.
By the time I finish step 3, my proofing is done.
The most important thing is to ensure that your content is easy to understand.
Spelling mistakes, grammar errors and poor sentence structures can all cause unnecessary confusion.
