How to Troubleshoot iPAQ 3900 Synchronization
- 1). Uninstall Windows Mobile Device Center on your computer. Click "Start," then "Control Panel," and click "Uninstall a program."
- 2). Right-click "Windows Mobile Device Center," and select "Uninstall." Restart the computer.
- 3). Download Windows Mobile Device Center. (See Resources.) Click "Download Now," then "Run," to complete the program's installation.
- 4). Connect your iPAQ to the computer with its USB cable. The reinstalled version of Windows Mobile Device Center will launch automatically.
- 1). Open "Sync Center" by clicking "Start," on your computer, and then click "All Programs," "Accessories," and "Sync Center."
- 2). Select "View sync conflicts," and "Resolve" on each conflict.
- 3). Follow the instructions in the Sync Center to resolve each sync conflict.
- 1). Turn off the iPAQ 3900.
- 2). Remove the data cable between the PDA and your computer.
- 3). Wait at least one minute for the PDA and computer connection to reset.
- 4). Replace the connection between the PDA and your computer. Power on the device.
- 5). Wait for Windows Mobile Device Center to automatically launch and sync your device. If you made no changes before powering off the PDA, no data will be synchronized.
