• 1). Go to the Qwest's online tool to send text messages.
  
  
• 2). Enter the 10-digit Qwest phone number in the "Send To" field. Enter the numbers without using spaces or dashes.
  
  
• 3). Enter a subject for your text message.
  
  
• 4). Enter your email address or 10-digit cellular phone number in the "Reply to Address" field.
  
  
• 5). Enter your text message in the "Your Message" field. The maximum allowable length of a text message is 160-characters including spaces.
  
  
• 6). Click the "Send" button. This will send the text message to the Qwest customer.
  
  

From Cell Phone

• 1). Open the text messaging application on your cell phone. If you don't know how to open the text messaging application, consult your cellular phone manual. You do not have to be a Qwest customer to send a text message to a Qwest customer.
  
  
• 2). Enter the 10-digit phone number in the "Send To" field of your phone's text messaging application.
  
  
• 3). Enter the text message and press the "Send" button on your phone to send the text message to the Qwest customer. The maximum allowable length of a text message is 160-characters including spaces.
