How to Play M4P Files in Windows Media Player
- 1). Open iTunes. Select "New Playlist" from the "File" menu.
- 2). Name the playlist something you are likely to remember so that you can differentiate between playlist files.
- 3). Add desired M4P iTunes files to your new playlist. From your Music Library, select desired songs and drag into the playlist, which is located on the left side of your screen when iTunes is open.
- 4). Insert a blank audio CD into your computer's rewritable disc drive.
- 5). Open the playlist. Click "Burn CD" button on the lower right-hand side of your screen. Wait for iTunes to burn your playlist onto the CD. ITunes will burn the songs as MP3 files on the disc.
- 1). Remove the freshly burned CD from the drive, then put back in and close the drive so that your computer recognizes this new CD. If Windows Media Player doesn't automatically open, open it manually through the computer's start menu and play the CD.
- 2). Select the option "To play the CD in Windows Media Player" if you don't want to copy the music to Windows Media Player.
- 3). Choose "To import the MP3 files into Windows Media Player" to add the files to your Windows Media Player list. Watch the status of the CD's import into Windows Media Player so that you do not eject the CD until the import is complete.
- 4). Eject the CD and play the songs through the program when Windows Media Player is done importing the CD.
