Also relatively inexpensive and easy to find, ivy offers a number of options for adding a touch of green to your nuptials. - Ivy plants can be used to make nature-inspired crowns for the bride and wedding party. Measure each person's head and cut the ivy to the needed size for each crown. Intertwine ribbon with the ivy and use it tie the ivy at the ends to form the crown for each person's head. Allow the ribbon to drape down the back of each person. Choose a coordinating ribbon in keeping with the wedding's color scheme.

Surround the bottom of the wedding cake with lengths of ivy as well as around platters and serving bowls, forming wreaths. - For an added decorative touch, place a pot next to each chair along the aisle where the bride will walk to her groom. Create swags of ivy garland between church pews or between posts used to designate the aisle. When using posts connected by ropes or chains, wrap ivy around the rope or chain or up each post.
- When using chairs for guests, tie a garland of ivy around each. Tie the ivy together at the back using ribbon and add a small bouquet of flowers. If the guests will be sitting in pews, ask the officiant if it is permissible to swag ivy garlands along the pew backs or ends and place flowers where each swag comes together.
