How to Plant Peanut Plants
- 1). Soak the peanuts in a glass of water overnight.
- 2). Fill the flowering pot with the potting soil until there is inch remaining between the rim of the pot and the soil. Plant the peanuts 1 to 1 1/2 inches deep in the soil.
- 3). Water the soil until it is moist, then keep the flowering pot in an area with an average temperature of at least 65 degrees. The plant should have constant exposure to bright sunlight, so you should put it near a window or keep it in a greenhouse.
- 4). Check the plant soil everyday, and water the soil once it is no longer moist. After 5 to 8 days, you will see the plants start to sprout. After 45 days you will see the plants start to bloom.
