Plants need at least six hours of sunlight daily.
- Better Boy tomato plants mature in 72 days. The indeterminate plant produces 12-ounce fruit until the first frost of the fall. Better Boy plants are resistant to VFN and needs six hours of direct sunlight each day. Fruits are bright red and have a sweet tomato taste.
- Quick Pick tomato plants are VFNTA resistant, which includes verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt and nematodes, tobacco mosaic virus and alternaria. The indeterminate plant matures in 60 days and continues to produce 4-ounce fruit until a fall frost. Round, sweet fruit are prone to sunburn in hot weather. Plants should have at least three to four hours of direct sun.
- Champion tomato plants are VFNT resistant. Classified as an indeterminate plant, the Champion matures in 65 days and produces 10-ounce fruit until the first frost. The large, smooth, meaty tomato has a sweet taste. Champion plants need at least six hours of sun each day.
