    • 1). Purchase a refill kit that’s compatible with your specific inkjet cartridge model. You can find refill kits online through many print supply sellers.

    • 2). Insert the empty ink cartridge into the refill clip contained in your refill kit. Press the cartridge all the way into the clip, with the ink dispenser spout at the bottom of the cartridge pointed towards the rubber hole at the bottom of the clip.

    • 3). Remove the patch protecting the refill hole on the empty inkjet cartridge. The refill kit manufacturer will provide information as to the location of the refill hole, as location changes according to cartridge model.

    • 4). Find the same color ink as that in the cartridge among the refill kit’s ink containers. Insert the needle on the tip of the refill kit’s ink container through the refill hole of the empty inkjet cartridge.

    • 5). Inject the ink into the empty inkjet cartridge. Inject the ink slowly to prevent overfilling the cartridge and causing a spill. Remove the ink container when the cartridge fills completely.

    • 6). Seal the refill hole with the hole plug contained in the refill kit.

    • 7). Press the suction syringe contained in the kit to the rubber hole at the bottom of the refill clip. Suck out about one or two milliliters of ink from the cartridge to equalize the air pressure in the cartridge and force the new ink to the bottom of the cartridge against the ink dispenser.

    • 8). Install the refilled inkjet cartridge in your printer and run your printer’s head cleaning application to ensure the new ink runs smoothly.
