    • 1). Open the iTunes application on your computer. If you do not yet have the iTunes application, you can download it from Apple's website for free. From there you can easily download and install it.

    • 2). Open the folders on your computer which contain your saved music files and drag and drop them into iTunes. If prompted to convert to M4a, select "Convert."

    • 3). Connect your 120GB iPod to the computer using the provided USB cable.

    • 4). Click the "Restore" button on the main screen in iTunes, then click "Restore" a second time once prompted to initiate the restore process.

    • 5). Click the "Next" option, then "OK" once the restoration is complete. Your music will no longer be on your iPod, but will remain in your iTunes library. Click the "Sync" button on the bottom left side of the iTunes screen to sync the music library with the iPod.
