    • 1). Purchase the enamel paint in the color of your choice.

    • 2). Open the paint can and stir the paint for at least two minutes. This will ensure that the paint is thoroughly mixed together.

    • 3). Set out a large sheet of wax paper to do the painting on.

    • 4). Remove the antenna. Never attempt to paint the antenna while it is still on and connected to the TV. This can ruin the TV as the paint gets inside it and you could run the rise of electrical shock.

    • 5). Place the antenna onto the waxed paper and dip the paintbrush into the paint.

    • 6). Apply a light layer of paint to the base of the antenna working up. Only use small brush strokes and light paint (you don't want clumps of paint forming over the antenna). For black antennas, two coats of paint may be necessary.

    • 7). Keep the antenna on the waxed paper to dry completely. Allow at least 24 hours for the antenna to dry before reconnecting to the TV.
