DIY 1080P Projector
- 1). Place your projector in front of your screen on a sturdy stand or piece of furniture. Make sure there is room to move the projector around as you will have to adjust it. You can use a retractable or fixed frame-mounted projector screen. A retractable screen saves space when it retracts but ripples on the screen can affect quality. A fixed screen mounts on your wall and has superior quality but you can't put it away. Also, you need a screen that matches the aspect ratio of the image you intend to project.
- 2). Plug in your projector and turn it on. Position the projector so that the lens is facing the screen.
- 3). Move the projector back or forward so that the image fits within the frame of the screen. Make sure the projector isn't closer than 1.5 times the screen width as this will be too close and there will be pixelation in the image.
- 4). Locate the directional buttons labeled "lens" on the included remote control. This is the lens shifter directional pad.
- 5). Use the arrow buttons on the lens shifter to move the image around on screen until it is centered.
