- 1). Place the TomTom device with the LCD display face-down on a soft surface. Remove the rubber feet covering the screws on the bottom of the TomTom.
- 2). Remove the four T6 Torx screws from the bottom four corners of the TomTom. Lift the bottom housing from the TomTom device.
- 3). Remove the two T6 Torx screws securing the antenna circuit board to the GPS device. Lift up on the antenna board to disconnect the circuit board from the main system board. Set the antenna circuit board aside.
- 4). Remove the four T6 Torx screws that secure the main system board to the TomTom frame. Disconnect the speaker and battery connectors from the system board, and then remove the system board from the TomTom.
- 5). Remove the two hard drive Torx support screws on each side of the TomTom frame, and then lift the hard drive out of the TomTom device.
- 6). Re-assemble the the TomTom by repeating the previous steps in reverse order.
