- 1). Attach your S50 to your computer using the USB cable that came with the device. You will not be able to check for updates unless the S50 is connected.
- 2). Check to be sure you're connected to the Internet, and open the Sirius Satellite Radio program on your computer. Click "File" from the upper left hand corner.
- 3). Click "Device Settings." You can also find and click on the gear icon, which is located next to the S50 icon.
- 4). Click on "Check for Software Update" from the "Device Settings" dialog box that appears in your program.
- 5). Click the "Update Software" button from the "Sirius Software Update" window if it's not grayed out. If it is grayed out, that means no updates are available for your S50 at this time.
- 6). Click "OK" once the update is complete. The latest software for your S50 will now be available on the device.
