Close all open windows, especially ones that may be utilizing Google Search.

Click on the "Start" icon and then click on "Control Panel."

Click on "Programs" or "Programs and Features" and then click on "Add/Remove Programs."

Click on "Google Search" once the program list appears on the screen. Once Google Search is highlighted, click on "Uninstall" or "Change/Remove." An installation wizard will appear to guide you through the uninstallation process.

Follow the instructions provided by the installation wizard to remove Google Search from your computer, or the installation wizard will finish the removal process automatically once you initiate it.
