- 1). Click the "Resources" link on the right-hand column of your Twitter homepage.
- 2). Choose the Twitter link you would like to add to your site. The Follow buttons contain a static link to your Twitter page; the Tweet Button works well for blogs, adding a "Tweet this" button to individual posts for your readers to click; and Widgets contain a live feed of your tweets, your favorites, a list of certain people's tweets or tweets containing a certain hashtag.
- 3). Follow the instructions on the page for the product you select. For the widgets, for example, you will be instructed to choose a widget type, then designate the size and colors of the widget. For the Tweet Button, you can choose the orientation, and the text and links of the tweet the button will create.
- 4). Copy the HTML code generated by your settings and paste it into your website code where you want it to appear. Save your changes, preview and modify as necessary.
