- 1). Locate the Desktop Manager software on the computer's hard drive. On a PC, this can typically be done by following the filepath: "My Computer > Program Files > Desktop Manager." On a Mac, you would open the "Macintosh HD" folder, select the "Applications" folder, and locate "Desktop Manager" within it.
- 2). Right-click, or control-click, the "Desktop Manager" icon.
- 3). Scroll down the menu and select "Create Shortcut on Desktop." This will restore the shortcut icon for the Desktop Manager back to the Desktop, and it can be moved if you desire.
