Compared to contact, systemic fungicides has a longer residual life span. The affects that penetrant fungicides have on the lawn can be compared to the systemic treatment. Penetrant fungicides differ because they work to treat and prevent lawn blight by stopping the growth of pathogens.

      It is important to use the right fungicide for your lawn to yield the best results and to ensure that you are treating the cause of the disease. There are fungicides that are known to kill off organism and insects that are beneficial to a lawn. Lawn blight will typically starts in one spot of the lawn before spreading. To minimize any damage to your lawns ecosystem it is recommended when using fungicides to spot treat your lawn.
