Tagging Your Friends on Facebook & MySpace - It"s a Fun Thing to Do

103 30
Tagging friends on Facebook and MySpace, too, is not new.
It's been used by people for some time...
and it has been lots of fun.
Specifically, for those who don't know, when you "tag" a friend on your Facebook account, he or she will receive a photo...
or a video...
or some new notes that you've posted - when you post any of these things.
That's right! Tagging allows your "tagged" friends to receive information or photos in real time...
when you put it on your Facebook or MySpace screen.
This saves them time and trouble.
In fact, the way it works is really amazing.
When you post your photo on your own screen it posts the exact same way on the screen of your friend or friends who have been tagged by you - at precisely the same moment.
That's amazing technology.
And it is immensely popular with millions and millions of young people, the very people who, of course, maintain active accounts on Facebook and on MySpace.
Is it important that your friends see a photo of you the moment you put it on your Facebook or MySpace screen? Probably not, but that is not the point.
Young people today enjoy every aspect of instant communications.
They like (no, make that love) to keep their friends, guys and gals, up-to-date and fully informed about everything that is going on in their lives.
In a way, "tagging" has replaced, at least partially, "telling it like it is" on the telephone.
Of course, phones are still very much in fashion, too.
However, as most people know, personal computers literally rule the world of young people.
They use it for everything they do and membership accounts like Facebook and MySpace are vitally important to them.
They're even more important because of the technological advances that now allow "events" like "tagging" to take place.
Here's more good news: if you have a Facebook or MySpace Account, you can now "tag" your friends in your status.
That means if you're going bowling or to a movie or anywhere else, you can record what you're about to do and your "tagged" friends will get that information immediately.
Just think about it.
You can't call four or five of your friends at once to tell them "what's going on," but you can "tag" them all at once so they get the information in real time just as they get photos of you...
videos...
notes...
and other stuff.
And with the technology improving all of the time, there is no telling what's on the horizon.
One thing is certain: whatever is coming up is likely to be even more spectacular, fun and exciting than what you're doing now.
For as good as "tagging" is, there's little doubt that new and better improvements will be hitting the marketplace in the neat future.
It's going to be amazing.
Keep up-to-date on everything that happens.
You don't want to miss out on the next great innovation.
