How to Create an Avatar URL
- 1). Open your preferred Web browser and visit Photobucket.com.
- 2). Click the "Sign Up" link and register for a free account.
- 3). Click the green "Upload now" button, located on the Photobucket toolbar. Click the "Select photos and videos" button and select the avatar image you want to upload and host online. When the upload process is complete, click the "Save and continue to my album" link. The avatar will appear in thumbnail image format in your Photobucket album.
- 4). Place your mouse on top of the avatar image. The URL for your avatar will be listed in the "Direct Link" field.
- 1). Launch your Web browser and go to ImageShack.com.
- 2). Check the box next to the "images/videos" option in the "Upload" field, and then click the "Browse" button. Navigate through your folders and select the avatar image you want to upload online.
- 3). Click the "Upload Now" button. The URL for your image will be displayed in the "Direct Link" box.
- 1). Open your Web browser and go to Flickr.com.
- 2). Click the "Sign Up" link and register for a free Flickr account. If you have a Yahoo! account, you don't have to register for a new account and can use your Yahoo! ID and password to log in to Flickr.
- 3). Click the "Upload Photos & Videos" link and upload the avatar image you want to host online. When the upload process is complete, it will be added to your Flickr album.
- 4). Click the "Home" link to view your Flickr album, and then select the avatar image you uploaded. The image will appear in full-size format.
- 5). Click the small "down" arrow icon, located to the right of the Twitter icon. The URL will appear in the pop-up menu.
