Using Twitter to Motivate and Succeed

Twitter to me has been a real help in growing business.
It doesn't necessarily make me money but it solves the question that every business owner has: "Who is the person that I need to contact inside that building if I wanted to sell them something?" With Twitter, it removes celebrity "handlers".
In the music industry and especially hip hop music, it removes the thug manager who refuses to let you know who to contact at the record label.
Twitter basically has leveled the playing field and removed the middleman out of the equation.
Are you a middleman or middle woman? Your business is done and now people can work to build direct relationships with artists, entertainers, athletes, business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs.
As an example, to grow my business and Radio show, I have contacted and booked Tyrese Gibson, the star of Transformers, John Hope Bryant of Operation Hope, Daymond John of FUBU and ABC's reality series "The Sharktank", and several others who appear or will appear on my radio show.
Most importantly, I use my twitter account to help other people, other black businesses, and other black entrepreneurs grow their businesses and harness social media for growth and not just talking and playing around.
I love the Verizon commercial when the kid tells his dad to stop tweeting him from the deck out back but that's actually what many people use twitter for.
You can use it for much more than that.
You don't have to talk about mundane things.
You can actually connect to the right people talking about the right things to help you grow.
