    • 1). Open the fax wizard. Click on the “File” tab on the command bar and select “New.” A window will open on the right side of the document; click “On My Computer.” Select the “Letters and Faxes” tab and then double-click on the “Fax Wizard” icon.

    • 2). Select a document to fax. Make sure that you are inside of the document that you wish to fax. Click “Next” to begin using the wizard. Then use the dropdown menu to assure that the currently opened document is selected for faxing. Click “Next” when finished.

    • 3). Choose your fax software or printer. Click on the radial button labeled as “A Different Fax Program That Is Installed On This Computer.” Then use the dropdown menu to either select the fax program of preference or to select a fax-enabled printer. Click on “Next” to continue.

    • 4). Enter in the recipient. Click inside of the name and phone number fields and enter the text of the desired recipients. Click on the “Next” button to continue.

    • 5). Insert a cover sheet. Choose the desired cover sheet by clicking the corresponding radial button. Then click “Next” to keep going.

    • 6). Specify the sender. Enter text into the desired “Sender” fields and then click “Next.”

    • 7). Create the fax. Click “Finish” to send the fax.
