- 1). Launch the HP Recovery Manager. Click the "Start" menu, "All Programs" and then "Recovery Manager".
- 2). Click on "Advanced Options" in the first window you encounter.
- 3). Click "Recovery disc creation" and then click "Next". The HP Recovery Manager now analyzes your computer and tells you how many CDs or DVDs you will need.
- 4). Insert a blank CD or DVD into the disc drive when prompted. The discs are burned at this point. Continue this step until all of the discs are burned.
- 5). Label each disc after it is done burning. For example, label the first disc "Recovery Disc 1".
