- 1). Log on to your PC server with an administrator account.
- 2). Open the "Start" menu and click on the "Run" icon.
- 3). Type "NTBACKUP" into the dialog box and hit "OK" to launch the backup utility tool.
- 4). Choose the "Advanced Mode" option in the pop-up window that appears.
- 5). Go to the "Restore and Manage Media" tab at the top of the window.
- 6). Check the box next to the catalog file that contains the mailbox backup data you want to recover.
- 7). Press the "Start Restore" button and then click "OK." Exchange 2000 will now recover the backup data and restore it to the server.
