- 1). Remove the cover from the vehicle's data link connector. The connector is located under the dashboard between the steering wheel and the driver's door.
- 2). Connect port G and port A with a jumper wire. A jumper wire is any metal wire, such as speaker or copper wire, that will transmit electricity. Listen for the vehicle to lock and then unlock the doors to signal that it has entered programming mode.
- 3). Push a button on the new remote control. Listen for the vehicle doors to lock and unlock again. Repeat this step with any additional remotes you need to program.
- 4). Take the jumper wire out of the ports, and replace the cover. Exit the vehicle and test the remotes.
