Unlock with a 25-Character Unlock Code

• 1). Insert your MapSource map CD into the computer's disc drive. MapSource opens automatically.
  
  
• 2). Click "Utilities" and "Manage Map Products." Click on the "Unlock Regions" tab, then "Add."
  
  
• 3). Enter the 25-character unlock code provided with the map CD. This may be printed on a slip of paper in the packaging, or directly on the package.
  
  

Unlock with an Eight-Character Coupon Code

• 1). Place the MapSource CD into the computer's disc drive, and wait for the MapSource application to start.
  
  
• 2). Click on the map you want to install from the list that appears. You are taken to an "Unlock Maps" Web page.
  
  
• 3). Install the Garmin Communicator Plug-in on the computer when prompted to do so. You may skip this step if you already have the Plug-in installed.
  
  
• 4). Connect the Garmin GPS to the computer with a USB cable, then click on "Find Devices." Choose your GPS from the list if it does not appear automatically.
  
  
• 5). Enter the GPS' serial number and the eight-character coupon code that is printed on the Unlock Certificate in the packaging. Click "Unlock Map."
