Instructions
1Shut down the virtual machine if it's running by clicking "Virtual Machine," "Power" and "Power Off."
2
Click the virtual machine in the list, then click the "Virtual Machine" menu and click "Virtual Machine Settings."
3
Click "CD/DVD" in the list of virtual hardware devices and verify the "Connect at Power On" check box is checked.
4
Click "Use Physical Drive," click the drop-down box, click the drive you want to boot from in the list and click "OK."
5
Double-click the virtual machine to boot it.
6
Press "Esc" when the BIOS screen appears, select "CD-ROM device" in the list of boot devices with the arrow keys and press "Enter."
7
Verify the CD is bootable by inserting it in another computer and restarting that computer. If the computer doesn't boot from the CD, there may be a problem with the CD.
8
Enable raw access to the CD-ROM drive if the CD still doesn't boot. Shut the virtual machine off, click the "Virtual Machine" menu, click "Virtual Machine Settings," click "CD/DVD" in the list of devices, click "Enable Raw Access" and click "OK."
