How to Grow Variegated Lemon Thyme
- 1). Choose an area that receives full sun and has good drainage to grow your lemon thyme.
- 2). Mix compost into the top 4 inches of soil in your garden area. Sprinkle your seeds over the soil. Add enough soil over the seeds to just barely cover them, or use a rake to turn the seeds lightly under the surface.
- 3). Water your seeds two to three times each day so that the soil stays moist. Reduce watering to about 2 inches a week once your seedlings have two to three true leaves on them. Remove weeds by hand to prevent damage to your thyme.
