Show Hope Presents Cinderella
For years, show HOPE founders Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman have wanted to put together a big event that not only gives back to the Nashville community, but also helps educate people about their adoption advocacy organization, show HOPE. On Friday, May 14, 2010, that big event and dream became a reality.
Cinderella, starring Broadway star Alli Mauzey, will make its yearly appearance in Nashville on April 12, 2012 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
This year, to add to the fun, show HOPE is offering the Princess Package. For an extra $25, package holders will get special seating, backstage passes after the concert and a photo opportunity with Cinderella.
The hit song "Cinderella" (from Chapman's 2008 project This Moment), was inspired by the Chapman's two youngest daughters, Stevey Joy and Maria Sue, both adopted from China. With Maria's tragic death in May of 2008, the song and the musical are both fitting tributes to the life of Maria.
