How to Overclock With the Asus P4GD1 Motherboard
- 1). Restart your PC by opening your Start Menu, clicking "Turn Off Computer" (or, in Windows 7, the arrow next to "Shut Down") and selecting "Restart".
- 2). Enter your PC's BIOS by pressing "F2" when the ASUS splash screen appears on your monitor. This will take you in to your BIOS menu.
- 3). Open your "Advanced BIOS Settings" submenu by navigating to it using your keyboard's directional arrows and pressing the "Enter" key when the option is highlighted.
- 4). Highlight your "Front-Side Bus" setting and press "Enter" to edit it. From here, either enter a new number using your numerical keys or with the directional arrows. When done, press "ESC" to save the settings.
- 5). Press "ESC" to back out of the "Advanced BIOS Settings" submenu and again to exit your BIOS. When prompted, press "Y" to save your settings and restart your computer.
