- 1). Connect your MiniDisc player to your computer by plugging the audio cable into the headphone jack of your MD player and the line-in audio port on your PC.
- 2). Open an audio-editing program on your computer. Make sure the input on the program is set to Line In.
- 3). Press the Play button on the MD player and make sure the levels appear to move on your computer screen. This shows that the connection is working.
- 4). Hit "Record" in your audio software and begin playing the MD in the MD player. Wait for the duration of the disc.
- 5). Burn the resulting music file onto a CD as you would ordinarily burn audio.
