- 1). Connect the coaxial cable that comes from your antenna to your new digital TV converter box. You'll want to connect this to the "input" of your new digital cable box.
- 2). Connect another coaxial cable from the "output" jack of the digital converter box to the "input" jack or "antenna in" jack of your t.v. You've now placed the digital converter box in the signal path from your outside antenna to your TV.
- 3). Set the appropriate channel on your TV to allow the digital converter box to now act as the tuner for changing channels. This is typically channels 3 or 4 dependent upon the settings on your digital converter.
- 4). Turn everything on and now use your digital cable box to change channels. Most of these come with remote controls that you can use in order to perform this function. Enjoy the new digital signal!
- 5). Program your new digital converter box with the appropriate TV channels. You may notice that you now have more channels than you had before. Bonus!
