How to Remove All Files From a SanDisk Sansa M240 MP3 Player

1). Press and hold the "Power" button to turn the device off. Slide the hold switch to the right. This will place the Sansa M240 in MSC mode.
2). Turn on your computer. Connect the Sansa M240 to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Close the AutoPlay window if it opens.
3). Click the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar. Click "Computer."
4). Right-click "Sansa M240" and click "Format." Place a check next to the "Quick Format" box and click the "Start" button. Click "OK" to confirm the deletion. When the formatting is complete, all the files will have been removed.
