How to Run a Second Copy of Outlook Express
- 1). To Create a New Identity:
From the File Menu, go to "Identities" and then click on "Add New Identity." Type in your name. You can also add password protection here. The dialog box will ask if you want to switch to the Identity you just created. Click on "Yes." At this stage, you have created a unique Identity for your Outlook Express installation. You can now configure it just as you would if you had created a fresh Outlook Express installation, such as you would on a new computer for example. - 2). Switching Between Identities:
From the File Menu, click "Switch Identity." Choose the Identity you want to switch to. If you set a password in Step 1, then enter it here. Click "OK." Outlook Express automatically restarts using the Identity you have chosen. - 3). To Log Off From the Current Identity:
From the File Menu, click "Switch Identity." Click "Log Off Identity," and then click "Yes."
