How to Clear Yellowed Camera Lenses
- 1). Blow off any dust or debris on the lens using a micro-blower or a can of compressed air.
- 2). Wipe off the lens, once, using a dust-free chamois. Use disposable clothes and never use the same one twice on the lens.
- 3). Dip a fresh cloth into the lens cleaning fluid and wipe down the exterior of the yellowed camera lens, making sure to concentrate on the yellow discoloration. Wipe off the fluid with a fresh cloth.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 as many times as needed until the yellow stain is removed.
- 5). Apply the lens pen to any tough yellow stains that you can't remove with the cloth and fluid combination. Press the tip onto the stain, rub it, then use a dry chamois to remove the pen fluid off the lens.
