Build Your Business With the Right People or Else! Know How to Identify the 3 Types of Workers!
As business owners most of us have a team, staff, or partners we depend on. How many of these people need to be put on a short leash? WHOA- probably a lot of them I bet! While this is a harsh reality, our people don't always do what we need them to do for success.
I have come to know three different types of humans when it comes to success in business.
Betas
Pre-Alphas
Alpha Studs.
Betas are your team members who always have something keeping them down. Fear is their middle name and they love to complain, or talk about how they just cant succeed. Excuses are hurled left and right every day as to why they can't get ahead. They never listen and never do important things to make themselves stronger. Betas lack motivation and often resort to laziness in life. They need to be on a leash. Don't spend too much time with these people because they are quitters and many times refuse to be coachable. Being a leader is something they usually could care less about.
Pre-Alphas are willing to learn, work hard, and they stay eager to succeed. They just don't know how to do it yet. You need to spend time with these guys because they can become your next great leaders. The vast majority of all Alpha studs were at one time Pre-Alphas who were mentored by an expert/ leader.
Alpha Studs already know what's up and do things on their own in order to win, no matter what. You don't have to worry about them working hard or making things happen because they already know how to get things done. Spend most of your time with these guys and grow with them. They will take your team or business to another level of success. Most Alphas are also great leaders who can inspire & manage a team for success.
What do you consider yourself to be? If you aren't quite an Alpha then you need to strive to become one. You have to become a great leader who takes action if you want to really succeed.
A new mindset going forward that you need to have is one that is aware of these three types of people. Don't let a Beta destroy your team, nourish the Pre-Alphas, and attack goals with the Alpha Studs. If you can learn to think this way instead of trying to turn everyone into a champion then you will succeed much faster.
