- 1). Turn on your computer. Insert the installation CD that came packaged with your camera. Run the installer application and follow the onscreen instructions to install the ArcSoft software.
- 2). Press the camera's power button, located on the top panel of the camera. Press the "Menu" button, located on the rear panel, to the right of the LCD display.
- 3). Review the options shown on the LCD display. Use the up-and-down navigational buttons, located next to the "Menu" button, to select the option labeled "USB Connect." Press the right navigational button to confirm your selection.
- 4). Use the up-and-down navigational buttons to select the option labeled "PC." Press the button labeled "Func OK," located in the center of the navigational buttons, to confirm your selection.
- 5). Open the cover to the camera's USB port, located on the right panel. Plug the USB cable into the port. Plug the remaining end of the cable to an unused USB port on your computer.
- 6). Review the list of mounted drives displayed on your computer's desktop or file browser. Open the entry that corresponds to the camera. Select the pictures that you wish to copy over. Drag the pictures over to the desired folder on your computer's file system.
