- 1). Navigate to the Napster login webpage (see Resources). Sign in using your email or member name and password.
- 2). Double-click on the Napster icon to open Napster. Designate which music you would like to share with other Napster users by browsing to the folders and checking them. Designate the folder where you would like to store your downloaded Napster files by browsing to the folder and clicking on it.
- 3). Click the "Search" button at the top of the window to look for music. Type in the details of the song that you are looking for. Enter the artist name in the "Artist" field, and then enter the song title in the "Title" field. Click the "Find it" button located at the base of the search panel to initiate the search.
- 4). Double-click on the song that you want to download from the search results. A transfer window will open, showing you the status of the download. Songs can take a couple of minutes to download depending on your Internet connection. A dialog box will appear indicating "Transfer Complete" at the end of the download.
- 5). Navigate to the Napster downloads folder that you designated the first time you opened Napster. Find the song that you would like to listen to and double-click on it.
